Ok, sorry mom, but since you're vacationing in Florida and I didn't have to pull off a straight face over the videoconference, thought a little April Fool's Day humor was warranted... didn't realize my acting was now so good that you'd believe me that I'd extended our stay in India by three years to start Target's newest office located in a remote fishing village where Wade could also do some work with the locals.
Anyhow, I really appreciate your unconditional support even if! You are a great mommy and we love you all so much and can't wait for your visit here. We miss everybody bunches and are also looking forward to coming "home" to Minnesota. And don't forget we sold our house, so we'll need that place to stay soon enough... no joke!

That was the meanest thing ever! The phone connection is quite poor and I have to try to fill in the 20% of the conversation I can't understand, so I got the "remote" part (India is remote in my world) but I missed the fishing village part, which I hope I would have caught on to. I pictured Caden being 7 when I got to have him back in my life and was very sad. It was such a mean thing that I had to share it with your sister, "Katie, Angela called today and they want her to stay 3 years . . ." She too was devastated. It's amazing how much fun "mean" can be! Everyone had a bit of fun. Dad told her that I fell on the rocks while on vacation and was in the hosptial because my leg was so infected. She caught on though when he told her they were worried about having to amputate. Love you and miss you!!! Mom
